Hi. I’m Parinaz. I am a Mumbai based fashion designer and illustrator.
For as long as I can remember I’ve been happiest with a pencil or paint brush in my hand. My childhood passion of doodling fashion figures finally had a purpose when I joined the National Institute of Fashion Design, Mumbai to study fashion design. After graduating in 2000, I joined Manish Malhotra as an assistant designer and then Sheetal Design Studio as their in-house designer.
After a few years I started my own label designing and retailing indian bridalwear in high end designer stores while simultaneously creating bespoke garments for personal clients.
But illustration has always been my first love so after 17 years in the fashion industry, in 2017 I launched Parinaz Wadia Design, an illustration brand featuring hand drawn fashion figures and stationery with feminine flair.
